This map has been created by the Queensland Government with data obtained from the BOM (Bureau of Meteorology).
The map shows an array of small maps of Australia representing the years (April to March) 1910-11 to 2018-19. Each mini Australia is depicted with a 9 colour gradient showing rainfall patterns from the highest on record for a given area to the lowest on record.
The tracks of cyclones in the northern regions of the country have also been included for each year.
